It was exactly 10 months ago when Detroit’s Ty Farris and Portland’s Trox released their debut project “Room 39” which got major looks and attention from blogs and tastemakers. Working with the likes of Royce Da 5’9, Rapper Big Pooh and other talented up n comers cemented Room 39 as one of the top indie albums of the year. Since then Ty Farris released a Ep called “Ramen Noodle Nights” and is currently working on collab EP with Chicago’s Waterr and the next “Ty Farris x Trox” album which is untitled at the moment. Today the duo of Ty Farris and Trox returns with a single called “Real Sh*t”. A loosie as its described. This song was recorded in one take and Ty thought adding any other elements to it would take away from the energy and rawness of the song and of course Trox provides the backdrop for this. So enjoy and stay tuned for the next releases at top of 2018.
